As Worship Writers, we might feel called to write about a particular topic, theme, or idea. But how do we find the inspiration and creativity to do that? In his book, Caleb provides us with what he calls "prompts" to get our creative and Spiritual juices flowing, and he even organizes them into categories like working from scripture, sharing a personal story, or writing from the perspective of God. Then with each prompt, he leads us through a series of questions that, when answered, provide the ideas and inspiration we're striving to find. To me, the bonus in this book is that each prompt reads like a daily bible study or spiritual meditation. Caleb's prompts aren't just great inspiration for songwriting. They're prompts for "be still and know" moments with God.
